I have a couple of people in my family who work at PwC.
One of them has been with the company for 4 years and is now a Senior Tax Associate. I have asked him to forward my resume to HR but he said that he can't do that until he becomes a Manager. I'm getting the feeling that he just does not want to do it because we aren't that close. My resume is also not that impressive either and I have a couple of resume gaps due to some personal issues. I also do not have any real accounting experience outside of my coursework. Do you really need to be a manager to refer someone to the firm or am I just getting snubbed?
The other family member is a Manager at PwC in another country. Would she be able to refer me to a PwC office located in the United States?
