Hi everybody. I'll start off by giving some background info. I graduated from a major university in Texas last May with an MS and Bachelors in accounting. I successfully completed all four sections of the CPA exam and I have about 7 months of big 4 experience.Very recently, I've started to consider making a switch to industry. I'd like to stay in Houston if possible.
What would be the best way to go about landing a position in industry? I've talked to a few people already and they're suggesting that I use a recruiter. I'm on Linkedin and I've been contacted by recruiters at least once every two or three weeks since I started public accounting. It's also been suggested that I send out my resume and apply online for positions. Thoughts and suggestions are appreciated.
