Have a job interview Monday for a position as a controller of a CPA firm. Does anybody know of any significant differences between that and being a controller anywhere else? It almost seems intimidating like everybody who you work with is mentally auditing every journal entry lol! And while I know firsthand all controllers put in long hours, wonder if they're even longer at a CPA firm if for peer pressure that "everyone else stays until 8pm". If you work in a firm that has a controller how do you perceive him/her? Thanks!
