calicpa on "CPAexcel for FAR"

Does anyone think that CPAexcel gives you a lot of unnecessary information for FAR? My friend used it and said they go over a lot of info that isn't needed. It is 2 textbooks of 1100 pages. How long are the Becker FAR books? or any other materials
