Beach Girl on "Dilemma with postponing FAR . . ."

Hi, I am struggling with a decision to postpone my upcoming battle with FAR. I am scheduled to take it on the 29. My NTS is good until Dec, but my 18 months is up on Jan 15. So there is only 3 windows open to take the exam if I test in early Jan and in august. My dilemma hinges on that I do not feel ready. I am less than 1/2 of the way through the roger materials (yes I did go through in my last attempt) and not 1/2 through the Wiley test bank. As I recently had surgery, I have not been able to focus for the long study hours.
My family is encouraging me to take the test ready or not, and maybe I could hope to pass, and not lose the opportunity at one of the windows closing. .
Work thinks I should focus on healing, and focus on testing and being ready in the next window.
What have you done?
If you do decide to go for it, how would you approach studying?
Would you postpone or go for it?
