I did a lot of digging and couldn't find where any one asked, "Can you schedule your CPA Exam with Prometric the day before you plan to take it?"
Has anyone tried? The website looks like it will let me. If you have to know, I just wanted to be sure I was ready to sit before I scheduled the exam. Also, one more thing. I live the the DC, MD, VA area. I just found out you are supposed to take your exam in the state in which you applied. Whaaaat?!!!! Around here, the state lines are so close so you forget that although a place is only ten minutes from your house, it's in another state. How difficult is it to transfer scores from state to state? I applied in VA, but there is only one test center in VA in this area! There is one in DC (where I would have preferred to test) and like five in MD.
How annoying!!!
So, in summary, 1) has anyone attempted to schedule their exam in less than five days prior to the exam, and 2) has anyone attempted to transfer scores across states? Do you have to apply to the state board first?
