I need to say something about my REG experience, not just complaining, but also a kindly reminder to those who are still struggling with REG ( I will be one of you after score release).
For every MCQ testlet, I have 4-5 blaw questions, so don't underestimate BLAW. I hope I didn't break the confidential privilege by saying this.
For the sims, I got 1 research and 5 others...... 4 are about income (I can't go further, that's all I can tell). I used becker and wiley and cpareviewforfree. Guys, if you want to nail the sims, becker textbook is the only bible and be sure to understand everything. By everything, I'm not kidding.
I have becker review, becker final review and wiley online test bank.. I didn't finish all the chapters, that's true. But for the parts I covered, becker did not prepare me well. Jim Gearty is all about "highlight, underscore". Now I'm seriously sick of these words... After I paint my textbook into neon yellow, nothing looks important because everything is highlighted!! The video lecture is a waste of time. Some parts (which were omitted in video) showed up in my SIMS! Can you imagine how desperate I was? Bekcer MCQ is fine but not quite enough. I supplemented with Wiley. But real test questions aren't in Becker or Wiley style. One good thing of Becker is that its TEXTBOOK actually cover everything! The only problem is I need to find out a way to memorize all of them. Don't go Wiley textbook, it's time-consuming way too detailed. Wiley is good at subjects that heavily involved memorization.
Well, after a long afternoon of meditation and a big dinner with friends, I decide to cheer up and march on CPA my journey. I hope you find this post useful. And I will try to open a blog or a tumblr to share my stories. You guys are welcome to leave a message here.
