Soooo, I failed aaaaaaaaaaaagain. But, I assume that the progression I'm seeing is a good sign and makes me feel I must be doing something right, but need improvement in a few aspects of my FAR knowledge. I would appreciate those of you with similar outcomes to let me know what helped you get out of the quicksand. My first attempt was in Nov of 2011.

You see, I'm a person with a short fuse, and I think my fuse was vaporized when I saw my score today. Leaving the exam, I had a positive outlook on my performance and figured there might have been a chance that I passed. I'm thinking I did OK on the MCQ's but did not do so well on the SIM's.

I read MCLKT's success story and how she got "angry" at the exam. Well I think that's about how I feel about FAR right now. It totally messed up my plan to finish this test by the end of the year, at least it shortened my plan for studying for the sections that follow FAR in my study plan until the end of the year.

I noticed that my performance increased significantly when I started using the ELL plan and supplementing where I clould. I started with Becker (complete waste of time and money, I shipped my highlighters to the Becker offices) then switched to Yaeger and the 10 point Combo including the flashcard app which I really like. It helped me learn all of the ratios and allowed me to master 65% of the flashcards within 2 weeks. I think, what I noticed is really important, is to have a concise, clear, written out study plan so you know what your goals are and where you should be before your exam. Someone left a good piece of advice on this forum to also not change your test date. This helped me reel it in at the end. That's enough from me.

Any advice?
